Quad envisioned, designed and delivered an extensive Omni-channel platform (B2E, B2B & B2B2C), capable of processing 3Tb / data per day, with integrated IoT & Payments. Reduced Opex by 60%, TTM for new features from 18 months to 3 months and made the company a digital disruptor in the UK and Spain.

The Digital platform has been successful in generating significant new revenue streams from existing customers and acquiring new customers, driving monetization for the company and leaving competitors in its wake.
Business Problem
Our client (a leading Data Provider) required a high-performance Data-As-A-Service (DaaS) solution to provide GDPR-exempt datasets to the top 20 UK insurance companies to assist in investigating and preventing motor vehicle insurance fraud.
Our Solution
Quad designed and delivered a Data platform utilising Apache Presto, Spark (Qubole), Airflow, serverless code, IAM, API Gateway, OpenAPI. Won Qubole’s Best Data Lake in Europe award in Sep 2020.
The Result
The Data platform has been successful in exceeding its initial objectives and is being extended to other Data Providers.
